Hello sir, after filling application form of NIFT Entrance Exam I’m waiting for announcement of date. Is there any one can provide me here important dates for NIFT Entrance Exam?

The NIFT is a national level entrance examination which is organized by the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai in the major cities of the country.

This exam is a perfect gateway to get admission in different UG and PG professional programmes in fashion technology & design field.

For admissions in NIFT courses, firstly candidates have to clear the written entrance exam and after that candidates have to go through the situation test/ group discussion/ personal interview rounds.

Undergraduate Courses: B.Des./ B.F.Tech
Postgraduate Courses: M.F.M/ M.F.Tech./ M.Des


Important dates:

Online registration begins 2nd November 2016
Online registration last date 10th January 2017
Online registration last date (with late fee of Rs.5000/-) 16th January 2017
Admit card release 21st January 2017
Exam date 12th February 2017
Situation Test /Group Discussion /Interview April-May 2017
Result Declared End of May/June 2017
NIFT Counselling June 2017 onwards

Application fees:

The application fee will be Rs.1500/- for General/OBC (Non-Creamy) Category and Rs.750/- for SC/ ST/ PHP candidates.
Candidates have to pay Rs.5000/- in case of late registration
