Can you tell me what the date was of entrance exam of National Institute of Fashion Technology last time, so that I will start preparing for it for next session?

National Institute of Fashion Technology invites application form for NIFT Entrance Exam for admission to the Bachelor & Master Degree Program in Design Management & Technology at NIFT Institutes.

There are two exam mode:
Computer Based Test ( CBT ) ( for B.F.Tech. M.F.M. and M.F.Tech only ).
Paper Based Test ( PBT ) ( for all courses ).

Syllabus

General Ability Test (GAT) for Bachelor of Design (B.DES.) and Master of Design (M.DES. ) :

This test will comprise of various section as given below :
Quantitative Ability
Communication Ability
English Comprehension
Analytical Ability
General Knowledge and Current Affairs

Creative Ability Test ( CAT ) : This test is run to judge the intuition skill, power of observation, innovation in development of a concept and design ability of the student. An important aspect of the test is the creative and innovative use of color and illustration skills.

General Ability Test ( GAT ) for Bachelor of Fashion Technology ( B.F.Tech. ), Master of Fashion Management ( M.FM ), Master of Design ( M.Des. ) and Master of Fashion Technology ( M.F. Tech. ) :

This test is comprise of various section as given below :

Hi, Last year NIFT written test was conducted on 8 February 2015 and 22 Feb 2015. Every year NIFT conducts exams in February. Here are some useful tips to crack the exam:
• Refer the previous years' question papers
• Prepare well for quantitative aptitude, communication ability, English comprehension, and analytical and logical ability.
