NET Exam Form Date

I am interested in giving NET exam. Can you provide its exam application form dates?

NET stands for National Eligibility Test .It is conducted by UGC twice in a year.

Important dates of the UGC NET:
• Apply online on the official website in from July 22, 2014 (Tuesday) to August 13, 2014 (Wednesday).
• Last Date of Submitting Online Application Fee: August 12, 2014 (Tuesday).
• Last Date for receipt of Hardcopy/ Printout of Online application: August 19, 2014 (Tuesday).
• Last date for receipt of application from candidates of far-flung areas: August 25, 2014 (Monday).
• Last Date for receipt of written request for change of Examination Centre only on merit basis: September 24, 2014 (Wednesday).
• Tentative date of Publication of list of candidates registered for test on CSIR, HRDG website: October 31,2014 (Friday).
• Last date for accepting of representation about non-registration for this test: November 07, 2014 (Friday).
• Issue of e-Admission Certificate to registered candidates: Mid December, 2014.
• Date of Single MCQ Examination: December 21, 2014 (Sunday).

Eligibility:
Applicants must be citizen of India.
Applicants must hold post graduation degree.
Applicants must score 55% in PG course,50% for SC/ST.
No upper age limitation.

Exam pattern:
NET exam consists of 3 sections, 2 objective sections and 1 descriptive section.
Paper I is common for all subject candidates and will mainly consists of questions from
General Aptitude
Elementary basics of Computer Science
General Science
General Knowledge
Teaching and Research Aptitude
Quantitative Reasoning
Current Affairs
Paper II & III will be separate for each subject candidates and will comprise of questions from the respective subject areas.

Paper I will consist of 60 questions of 2 marks each; among which the candidate has to answer only 50 questions within time duration of 75 minutes.

Paper II comprises of 50 objective type questions each carrying 2 marks which have to be answered within 75 minutes

Paper III consists of 2 essays of 20 marks each, 3 analytical/ evaluative questions of 15 marks each, 9 definitional/ short answer type questions of 10 marks each and 5 text based questions of 5 marks each.
Applicants has to answer 19 questions of 200 marks within 150 minutes.
