The last date of submission of form of MAT exam is 25 November 2014.

The MAT stands for the Management Aptitude Test. It is conducted as the qualifying entrance exam for the admission of eligible candidates in the two year regular management courses.

The entrance exam is conducted four times every year by the AIMA (All India Management Association) in the months of February, May, September and December respectively.

Eligibility for MAT:

Graduation passed from any recognized university/ college which includes the following degrees: BA/ B.Com/ B.Sc./B.Tech. Etc.

Exam Pattern:

There shall be a computer based test held in objective modes having multiple choice based questions on the following:

Section I: Language Comprehension

Section II: Mathematical Skills

Section III: DI (Data Interpretation)

Section IV: Intelligence & Critical Reasoning and

Section V: Indian and Global Environment respectively

Total Number of Questions: 200 (40 questions for each section)

Total Time Allotted: 150 Minutes

Marking Scheme:

The candidates should attempt only those questions that are correct and about which they are sure because there is negative marking in the exam in the form of one-fourth marks being deducted.

In this subject questions will be about Ratios & Proportion, Percentages, Algebra, Profit & Loss, Averages, Partnership (Accounts), In-equations Quadratic & linear equations, Number Base System, BODMAS, Alligation & Mixtures, Mensuration, Pipes & Cistern, Work, Clocks, Probability, Permutations Combinations etc.

Data Interpretation and Reasoning:-
This subject contains questions for Graphs can be Column graphs, Pie Chart, Graphs representing Area, Critical reasoning, Visual reasoning, Assumption-Premise-Conclusion, Assertion and reasons, Statements and assumptions, identifying valid inferences, Linear arrangements, Matrix arrangements.Syllogisms, Functions, Puzzles etc.

Last Date for Online Registration is 27th January 2016
Late Date for Online Filling-up / Purchase of Form is 23rd January 2016
Last Date for Submission of duly completed Printout of Registration Form at AIMA, New Delhi is 27th January 2016

Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline or stream.

Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply for MAT.

Mode of Test:
Applicants can choose any one of the two options to take the test:
Paper Based Test: 07th February 2016 (Sunday)
Computer Based Test: 13th February 2016 (Saturday) onwards on different centres.
