NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is being conducted by the North Eastern
Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST for Base Module
(Certificate Course), Diploma Module & Degree Module Courses in
Technology streams and also Degree Module course in Forestry.

Examination pattern :

the NEE Exam is conducted in three parts or all the exam of NEE (I, II, and
III) the questions are of objective type with multiple-choice answers.

NEE I

It is conducted in one paper of 150 marks of three hours duration. The NEE I
question paper will be consisting of three sections.

Section and Subject Marks Questions
A – Physics 35 35 questions of 1-mark each
B – Chemistry 35 35 questions of 1-mark each
C – Mathematics 80 30 questions of 1-mark each
25 questions of 2-marks each

NEE II
Section and Subject Marks Questions
A – Physics 45 25 questions of 1-mark each
10 questions of 2-marks each

B – Chemistry 45 25 questions of 1-mark each
10 questions of 2-marks each

C – Mathematics 60 30 questions of 1-mark each
15 questions of 2-marks each

NEE III

A – Physics 25 25 questions of 1-mark each
B – Chemistry 25 25 questions of 1-mark each
C – Biology 30 30 questions of 1-mark each
D – Branch Subject 70 30 questions of 1-mark each
