The University of Notre Dame is a Catholic research university located near South Bend, Indiana, in the United States. It was established on November 26, 1842 MBA program The MBA program aims to providing aspiring candidates, of various professional and educational backgrounds, with a set of theoretical knowledge and technical skills in business decisions in a socially responsible manner. The MBA Program consists of 39 credits of courses Admission Procedures and Requirements Candidates should submit the following documents: The application form Two recent photographs Official transcripts from the University Origin and the overall GPA The official GMAT or GRE score Two recommendation letters (at least one from a former professor) The CV showing work experience (if any) Employment Letters specifying present position and years of service In addition to the documentation above, there will be an interview with the division personnel. Minimum score of 600 in the English Entrance Test is required for applicants from institutions where English is not the language of instruction Eligibility- Applicants to the MBA program could be: Admitted. Admitted on probation; Applicants may be required to take up to three credits of foundation courses. A minimum grade of “B” should be scored in each foundation course. The grades of these courses are not included in the GPA. Candidates should obtain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 upon completing 12 credits of graduate courses; otherwise he/she will be dismissed from the program. Graduation Requirements Students must complete a total of 39 credits on full-time or part-time basis with an overall average of at least 3.0/4.0. Time schedule All the graduate courses are offered starting 5:30 p.m. Program Learning Goals and Outcomes Goal 1: General skills: Our graduates will demonstrate socially responsible professionalism. Outcomes: by the end of the program graduates will be able to: 1.1: Identify and assess ethical dilemmas and propose appropriate courses of action 1.2: Behave pragmatically and in an informed manner 1.3: Demonstrate leadership traits of a professional individual 1.4: Perform effectively as a team member toward the achievement of a common goal 1.5: consider socio-environmental concerns in the decision making process 1.6: Communicate effectively Goal 2: Management specific goals: Our graduates will demonstrate the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to business-related challenges in a dynamic environment. Outcomes: by the end of the program graduates will be able to: 2.1: Identify various management functions 2.2: Evaluate decision alternatives and select between competing courses of action 2.3: Assess businesses’ internal resources and capabilities as an integral part of business planning 2.4: Appraise the impact of external macro-environmental factors on the decision - making process 2.5: Integrate the program multi-disciplinary knowledge in providing business solutions 2.6: Use information technology in the decision-making process and in conducting research Goal 3: Research Capacity: Our graduates will demonstrate ability to engage in business research.
