The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is a centre-right political alliance led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The NDA was formed by the BJP in the 1998 general elections; it consisted of its existing allies like the Samata Party, the Shiromani Akali Dal, the Shiv Sena in addition to the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Biju Janata Dal.

As of 2015, it is the ruling coalition in the Parliament of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and rules over 13 state governments.
