I want to do MBA from IIM. So can you provide me information about National Eligibility Test for MBA (Master of business Administration) for admission in IIM (Indian Institute of Management)?

National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted by CBSE and candidates who successfully cleared this exam will be eligible for lucrative jobs in the public sector undertakings (PSUs) as well as lecturer. Eligibility for NET i) Only those candidates are eligible to appear in NET who have completed/ are pursuing a UGC specified Master’s degree in : LLM (Master of Law of Laws) MBA (Master of Business Administration) M.Com (Master of Commerce) Or any other master degree Candidates must secured at least 55% marks (without grace or rounding off) in Master’s Degree (or) equivalent examination from Universities/ Institution. Candidates in the final year of their master degree are also eligible to apply. Age Limit & Relaxation i) Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 1st June of the year of admission. Age relaxation is given to the reserved categories as per govt rules. Paper pattern There are two papers conducted in UGC NET exam Paper I – This test would be for your general aptitude test in which you will get - Quantitive Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness and Numerical Ability subjects. It would be an objective type. Paper II – This test would be for your specialization subject which you have chosen in UGC-NET exam means if you have chosen Management then you will have to face management test Both papers are necessary to qualify the exam and after this you can become professor. |
