Central Board of Secondary Education conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) for JRF and Asst. Professor Posts. Eligibility criteria: Applicants must possess Master Degree or equivalent with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University to apply for this selection process. Age limits: Applicants must hold the age limits of 28 years for this recruitment. The age relaxation as per government rules will be applicable. Selection Procedure: Applicants will select on the basis of the written test and then Merit list. Application Fee: For general category applicants have to pay application fee of Rs. 450/ For OBC category applicants have to pay application fee of Rs.225/ For SC/ST/PWD category applicants have to pay application fee of Rs. 110/ Important dates: Dates has already gone but for your idea here I am giving: Online Form Submission 16th April 2015 Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee 15th May 2015 Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of (SYNDICATE/CANARA/ICICI BANK) 16th May 2015 Exam pattern The paper of the UGC NET is conducted in 2 sessions and it has a total of 3 papers to be qualified in the given time frame. First Session: Paper I: This paper consists of general knowledge based objective type questions basically covering the following topics under it: 1. Teaching Aptitude 2. Research Aptitude 3. Reading Comprehension 4. Logical Reasoning 5. Mathematical Reasoning 6. Data Interpretation 7. Information and Communication Technology 8. Communication 9. Current Affairs related to the subject and 10. Higher Education System- Governance, Polity and Administration etc Total Number of Questions: 60 Number of Questions to be attempted: First 50 will be evaluated Total Marks Allotted: 100 Time Allotted: 1&1/4 Hours Paper II: Objective type multiple choice based questions from the subject selected for exam. The candidates should attempt all the questions. Number of Questions: 50 Duration of Exam: 1and ΒΌ Hours Total Marks Allotted: 100 Session II: The session II consists of the third and the last paper. This consists of objective type questions from the subject selected for exam by the applicants. Total Number of Questions: 75 Total Marks Allotted: 150 Duration of Exam: 2 and half Hours |
