National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admission to first year of 5 year B.Arch Degree course at all recognized institutions all over the country.

Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed or will be appearing for 10+2 (Class 12)/HSC or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible to apply for NATA 2014.

Sorry, no NATA forms are not available offline, online is only mode to apply.

Application process:
Purchase NATA 2014 registration form online from official website by paying Rs 1000 using net banking, credit card of ICICI Isure

Download the application form, fill in necessary details and procure necessary documents required for registration.

Select a test center that is nearest to you and approach the test center for an appointment for NATA exam.

Right now the date has gone so you can not apply.

NATA 2014 Dates:-

NATA Test shall be conducted in two Phases.
• Phase– I from 14.03.2014 to 25.05.2014
• Phase– II from 01.06.2014 to 31.08.2014

National Aptitude Test in Architecture is held for admission to first year of 5-year Bachelor of Architecture course.

Important Dates:
• Start date for online sale of application form: second week of March 2015

Eligibility:-

Applicants must have passed or will be appearing for 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects are eligible to apply for NATA 2015.

Paper Pattern:-

The test is in two parts.

• PART 01: Paper based drawing test and computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test.

• PART 02: Drawing Test This is a two hour paper where student has to attempt three questions.

Drawing aptitude is judged on the following aspects-
• Sense of perspective drawing.
• Combining and composing given three dimensional elements to form a building or structural form.
• Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in visually appealing manner.
• Visualising and drawing the effects of light on the object and shadows cast on surroundings.
• Creating interesting two dimensional composition using given shapes and forms.
• Creating visual harmony using colours in given composition.
• Understanding of scale and proportions.
• Drawing from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences.

Aesthetic Sensitivity Test
This is online test where students have to answer multiple choice questions.

• Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities.
• Analytical reasoning.
• Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings.
• Visualising different sides of three dimensional objects.
• Mental Ability.
• Imaginative comprehension and expression.
• Architectural awareness.
