From 2014 MT CET Engineering/Technology Programs in First Year Engineering admission. It will be carried out through JEE Main to be conducted by DTE and CBSE. MT CET Entrance Exam score of JEE Main ( Paper 1 ) and HSC Marks are considered for preparing the Merit. The MT CET Eligibility Criteria for Engineering & Technology is as follows: Eligibility of Maharashtra State Candidate and OMS candidate for appearing for MT CET: Candidate must be an Indian National and must have passed / appeared the HSC ( Std XII) exam of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate and Outside Maharashtra State Candidate for admission to first year of degree courses in Engineering / Technology: Candidate must be an Indian National and must have passed the HSC ( Std. XII ) exam of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. AND One must have scored minimum 45% marks ( minimum 40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Person with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State ) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at HSC ( Std. XII ). AND One must have obtained a non – zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at MT CET. Eligibility criteria for J & K Migrant candidates : Candidate must be an Indian National and must have passed the HSC ( Std. XII ) exam of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and scored minimum 45% marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together The candidate belonging to this type is not required to appear for the MT CET.
