Career Opportunities after B.Tech in Marine Engineering

There are a lot of job opportunities for marine engineers in India as well as in abroad. Some of the institutions like International Maritime Academy recruit marine engineers to the post of junior engineers in merchant ships.

Once a candidate has successfully completed a required period of service as junior engineer, he/she is allowed to write competency exams by which they get promoted to the post of chief engineer.
