SBI PO Exam date and Future Prospects

State Bank of India (SBI) conducts PO Exam. It is an exam for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officer (PO) for its branches across the country.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification
Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Final year students can also apply subject to submission of requisite proof by Aug 10, 2014.

Age Limit
Age should be between 21 - 30 years as on 01-04-2014 for the June 2014 exam.

Selection Process
SBI PO consists of 3 successive stages:
I. Objective (online)and Descriptive (paper-based) examination.
II. Group Discussion and Personal Interview of 20 and 30 marks respectively.
III. Final selection based on a total of 100 marks taken from both objective and descriptive tests and the GD - PI.

Important Dates (2014)

Payment of fees (online) Apr 7 - Apr 25, 2014
