Future prospects of Mechanical engineering in India.

I have done Mechanical engineering. Tell me its future scope in India. What type
of jobs are available in this field?

Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branch of engineering in India.
It has applications in fields- manufacturing plants, vehicles, ships, robots, heating and cooling systems, aircrafts and in medical devices.

Job prospects are quite good in this field. Except field work, there is office work also in
this field. As nowadays all designing and manufacturing processes are automated and computerized.

Mainly, they are required in designing, manufacturing, installing and operating systems industries.

They have vast opportunities in public and private sector companies.

Starting salary is between- 3.5 – 5.0 lpa

As India is a developing country, there will be a great demand for Mechanical engineers.
Automobile sector is booming at a fast pace, which is also good for Mechanical engineers.
