MT CET is the entrance examination for the selection to all Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy degree courses in State of Maharashtra conducted by Director, Technical Education, Mumbai, the Competent Authority appointed by Government of Maharashtra. B.Tech. or Bachelor of Technology is an undergraduate course of 4 years. MT CET exam Eligibility- 10+2 with subjects such as physics, mathematics and chemistry from recognised institutes with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. There is also exemption of 10% for SC/ST candidates. Age must be between 17 years to 25 years, there is a relaxation of five years for SC/ST candidates. MHT CET 2014 Exam Pattern- MHTCET 2014 Entrance Exam has been scrapped and the admissions will be based on JEE Main 2014. Below is the brief overview of the JEE Main Exam Pattern. Questions will be based on math, physics and chemistry. There shall be 3 sections of equal marks weight age. Questions will be of objective type. For every wrong answer, ¼ marks will be cut. No mark will be cut for un-attempted question. Paper shall be conducted in online as well as offline mode. Colleges accepting MT CET scores- Fr. Hey as Engineering is the application of mathematics, empirical evidence and scientific, economic, social, and practical knowledge in order to invent, innovate, design, build, maintain, research Eligibility Applicants should be an Indian national and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Applicants secured minimum 50 % marks (minimum 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together. Applicants from Maharashtra should have obtained a positive Composite score i.e., marks obtained after adding 50% of JEE (Main) (Paper 1) marks and 50% of normalized Standard XII (Board or Equivalent Examination) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For all India students, they should have obtained All India Rank in JEE (Main) (Paper 1) given by CBSE.
