Lovely Professional University is a university semi-residential university in North India created under the Punjab State Private University Act 2005 and recognized by UGC under Section 2 of UGC Act 1956.
M.Phil. (History)

Duration: 1.5 years (Semester System)
Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
Pass with 55% aggregate marks in M.A. (History) or equivalent or relevant higher qualification subject to clearing LPU - M.Phil.
(5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates)

90% marks in LPU Written Test Rs. 25000 Rs. 14500
Top 10 % in LPU Written Test Rs. 20000 Rs. 19500
Top 11% - 20% in LPU Written Test Rs. 15000 Rs. 24500
Top 21%- 35% in LPU Written Test Rs. 10000 Rs. 29500
Examination Fee: Rs. 1500(per semester)

Fee details and Allied Issues
• Examination fee payable with the fee of 2nd semester or before.
• Fee for successive semesters will be payable before the end of teaching of preceding semester.
• Fee other than tuition fee under head ‘Other Fees’ of ‘General Admission Guidelines’ and ‘Terms & Conditions for Scholarship and financial aid scheme’ must also be seen.
• Scholarship may be provided on the basis of exam immediate previous to the qualifying exam.
