Please provide here list of Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test exam centres & required eligibility criteria, selection procedure & tentative dates???

Kerala Government conducts Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) to select teachers for Category I (Lower Primary Classes) Category II (Upper Primary Classes) Category III (High School Classes) and Category IV (for Language Teachers – Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to UP classes), Specialist Teachers (Art & Crafts) and Physical Education Teachers.

Exam centre:
Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala reserves the right to identify the examination centre anywhere in the State of Kerala.

Examination centres will be announced after inviting applications from the candidates.

Provision to opt a district/educational district is provided in the application form.

Selection Procedure
A person who scores 60% or more in the K-TET exam will be considered ‘KTET passed’ or ‘K-TET qualified’.
This will be the qualifying marks for all categories.

Negative Marks:
There shall be no negative marks for the test.

Syllabus;

Category I: The Exam Paper will consists of Questions on

1. Child Development and Pedagogy
2. Language I-Malayalam/ Tamil/ Kannada
3. Language II- English/Arabic
4. Environmental Studies
5. Mathematics

Category II: The Exam Paper will consists of Questions on

1.Child Development and Pedagogy
2.Language I-Malayalam/ Tamil/ Kannada/English
3.Language II- Malayalam/English/Hindi/Arabic/Urdu/ Sanskrit
4. a. Science & Mathematics
b. Social Science

Category III: The Exam Paper will consists of Questions on

1. Adolescent Psychology, Theories of Learning and Teaching Aptitude.
2. Language I: Malayalam/English/Tamil/Kannada
3 .Subject specific areas (Content & Pedagogy)

Category IV: The Exam Paper will consists of Questions on

1.Child Development, Pedagogy & Teacher Aptitude
2. Language Malayalam/English/Tamil/Kannada
3. Subjects specific paper (Content & Pedagogy).

Important Dates:
Starting Date to Apply Online: 10-08-2015.
Last Date to Apply Online for Step-I Registration: 24-08-2015.
Last Date to Apply Online for Step-II Registration: 26-08-2015.
Issue of Online Hall Ticket: 15-09-2015 onwards.

Category I: 03-10-2015 Saturday From 10:00 A.M-12:30 P.M
Category II: 03-10-2015 Saturday From 02:00 P.M-04:30 P.M
Category III: 17-10-2015 Saturday From 10:00 A.M-12:30 P.M
Category IV: 17-10-2015 Saturday From 02:00 .PM-04:30 P.M
