NTPC Ltd time to time announces recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainees in Electronics Engineering through GATE. So if you want to apply for the positions in NTPC then register for GATE.

Selection process:
Selection is based on followings:
The GATE score
Group discussion
Personal Interview

Eligibility:
You must have completed a full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology / AMIE with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate.

Final year/semester students are also eligible provided they obtain at least 65% marks in their engineering degree.

Age:
Not more than 27 years as in January.

Salary:
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 24900-3%-50500 at the basic pay of Rs. 24900/- during one-year training

Then appointed as Assistant Manager at a basic pay of Rs. 25650/-.

Important Tentative dates:
Online GATE application: September 3 to October 3
Start of online application module: December 20
Last date for applying to NTPC: January 18

Following are the basic requirements which the company desires from the aspirants, if you qualify then you can get employment with NYPC:

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, taking into account the average of all the semesters/years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester/year by the institute/university

Selection Process:
Applicants who are eligible will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering

Based on the GATE scores and requirement, applicants will be short listed for group discussion and personal interview

Applicants need to secure minimum qualifying marks in group discussion and interview

These applicants will be absorbed after successful completion of training.
