The Indian Space Research Organisation conduct an entrance exam to apply for Scientists/Engineers. Here are details: Required qualification: The applicant should have completed BE/B.Tech or Equivalent Degree in the Disciplines of Civil, Electrical and A/C & Refrigeration with minimum 60% marks. Age Limit: Age limit of candidates must not greater than 35 years Syllabus for I.S.R.O. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) conducts the entrance exam for admission of eligible candidates in its Bachelor of Technology courses under different disciplines. Eligibility for Exam: The candidates should be Intermediate/ Class 12th passed from the PCM Group. Bachelor of Technology with at least 65% marks in aggregate. Candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying degree can also apply provided they can produce the same by the time final selections are made. Entrance Exam Pattern: There is an objective type paper divided into two parts for each subject as given below: Physics Chemistry and Mathematics The candidates should score at least 60% marks in the written and interview which is held subsequently after the written exam for all the qualifying candidates only for final selections. Centre of Examination: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram respectively. Syllabus of Study: For Refrigeration and Air Conditioning: Advanced Thermodynamics Advanced Heat Transfer Instrumentation of Thermal Systems Applied Mathematics for Thermal Engineers For Civil Engineering: Surveying Structural Engineering Transportation Engineering Geotechnical Engineering Engineering Mathematics Environmental Engineering etc. |
