Don’t worry buddy I will tell you eligibility criteria to apply for BTECH program through Indian Space research Organization entrance exam.

Eligibility
Citizenship - Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for admission in IIST.

Candidates seeking admission to IIST should have passed their Qualifying Examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of the curriculum

Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must secure an aggregate of at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in the qualifying examination and those belonging to SC/ST/PD should have an aggregate of at least 60% marks in PCM subjects in the qualifying examination.

Application fees
Application fee for male candidates (GEN/OBC) – Rs. 600/-.

Application fee for female candidates (GEN/OBC) – Rs. 300/-.

Application fee for all SC/ST/PD candidates – Rs. 300/-.

Courses offered
4-year B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering and the number of available seats are 60.
4-year B.Tech in Avionics with total available seats of 60.
5-year Dual degree course (B.Tech/M.tech), with 20 seats only.

Scheduled Castes (SC) : 15%

Scheduled Tribes (ST) : 7.5%

Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) : 27%
Persons with Disabilities (PD) : 3% (Horizontal Reservation)
