After completion of 12th you will not be able to appear in ISRO entrance exam.

For that you have to complete your graduation in BE/B.tech field

After completion of BE/B.tech course in streams like- Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Computer science you are eligible to apply for ISRO.

After 12 you can apply for the ISAT exam

Selection will be on the basis of India rank list giving 60% weightage to the score in JEE ( Main ) examination and 40% weightage to the normalised score in Class 12th qualifying examination

Important Dates:
IIST Online registration of application opens on 8th June, 2014
IIST Online registration of application closes on 7th July, 2014
Last date of receipt of Demand Draft at IIST by POST 10th July, 2014
Publication of IIST Admission Rank list 11th July, 2014

I would like t know if I am eligible to apply for jobs with ISRO after completing my 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics?

To join ISRO you need to be either a Graduate engineer or a Degree Engineer.

After 10th one should pursue 12th in science stream with physics, chemistry, Mathematics as the subjects.

PCMB is good but as you are intended to join ISRO so you should take Electronics as a subject in 12th rather than Biology.

You need to secure high percentage of marks in 12th.

After that you should pursue B.Tech/BE with any of the following branches.

Electronics & Telecommunication.

Electronics & Instrumentation

Electrical & Electronics

Electronics & communication

Then only you will be able to apply for Project engineer posts in ISRO.

Eligibility and Criteria:


An aspirant must have completed their B.E/B.Tech with at least 65% from recognized Universities are eligible for Indian Space Research Organisation exam.

The Age should be between 21-35 years for General category. There is a Relaxation is available for OBC +3 years and for SC/ST +5 years on Upper age.

An aspirant must be Citizen of India.
