IPS Eligibility After Eye Sight of -8.5

Hey there! I am having an eye sight of -8.5. Am I eligible to be appear in IPS entrance exam???

Yes dear, you are eligible for IPS entrance exam and you can apply for exam because there are minimum eye sight required is 6/9 distant vision and 8.5 lies b\w 6-9 so you can be appear in exam.

Here I am providing physically eligibility for IPS exam:

Physical requirement:

• Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
• Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.

• Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye.
 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye.
 Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye

• Female 150 cm & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm
• Height – Male 165 cm & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm
