National Defence Academy NDA is an national level entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission UPSC for recruiting candidates to the Indian Defence forces that includes Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force NDA Eligibility Criteria For Indian Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th from a recognized board or university For Air force and Indian Navy: 12th with physics and Mathematics from a recognized board or university Age Limits- Candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 1997 and not later than 1st July, 2000 are eligible. Only unmarried male candidates can apply. Nationality: The candidates must be a: a citizen of India , or a subject of Bhutan, or a subject of Nepal, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 01 January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. Only unmarried candidates are allowed to write the NDA exam 2016. Important dates- Notification Date - 02-01-2016 Closing Date - 29-01-2016 Exam Date - 17th April, 2016 N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2016 - 18.09.2016 (SUNDAY) NDA Syllabus The exam will be divided into papers i.e. Paper I (Mathematics) Paper II (General Ability Test). General Ability Test will be further divided into two parts that include English and General Knowledge. Syllabus for all the mentioned subjects are given below:- •Mathematics:- Algebra, Matrices & Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of Two & Three Dimensions, Different Calculus, Integral Calculus & Different Equations, Vector Algebra and Statistics & Probability. •English: - The English paper will be designed to test students’ proficiency in the languages with verbal reasoning and usage of grammar. •General Knowledge: - The GK paper will include subjects like Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and •Current Events. For all the mentioned subjects in the paper, the syllabus will be from 10+2 level. |
