The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology ( IIST ), a Deemed to be University. It offers undergraduate B Tech Programs in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, and Physical Sciences. ISAT Exam Pattern The entry test will have three sections on the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Each right answer will get three marks and wrong answer will drop one mark. If the candidate provides more than one answer to a question, the answer will be measured as wrong. Eligilbity Required Citizenship : Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for admission in IIST. Qualifying Examination ( 10+2 or Equivalent ) : Candidates seeking admission to IIST should have passed their Qualifying Examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of the curriculum. Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must secure an aggregate of at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics ( PCM ) in the qualifying examination and those belonging to SC / ST / PD should have an aggregate of at least 60% marks in PCM subjects in the qualifying examination. Reservation of Seats: SC-15% ST-7.5% PH/ PD-3% OBC-27% Mode of Examination: The candidates will be given OMR Sheets for answering the questions. Only Blue/ Black Ball Point pens can be used for answering the questions. The candidates are required to darken the ovals completely in order it is evaluated by the machine used for evaluation of OMRs. Marking Criteria: The candidates shall be given three marks for each correct answers marked by them while there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answers marked by them. The candidates providing more than one answer to a question shall be considered as wrong and there will be deduction of one mark for it.
