The Humanities Course at Indian Institute of Science-Undergraduate Programme is an opportunity to bring about synergy between the Humanities and Social Sciences (or ‘Human Sciences’) with the Natural Sciences.

IISc offers one Course in Humanities in the First Six Semesters of the Eight Semester BS programme.

These Courses are not Designed to Teach Humanities as a Series of Distinct Disciplines – they are Designed to Create an Intellectual Milieu in which the students Learn Science.
