The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur is a public research college located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Humanities and Social Sciences is one of the academic departments of IIT Kanpur and was founded in the year 1963.

Philosophy and
Sociology

Admission process:

The essential qualifications for being considered for admission include at least 55% marks or a CPI of 5.5 (on a 10-point scale) at the MA/B.Tech. level.

Selection is based on the candidate`s cumulative performance in the written test and interview.

The online applications will be available from 19th March 2015 till 15th April 2015.
