Yes , the Indian Army has changed the scheme of selection for its Open Rallies and other recruitment. From now, there will be a common written examination before the physical screening test.

The Information About the Examination is As Follow

Written Exams

The written examination will be conducted online which almost ends the chances of the unfair means.

The computers will be provided to all Army Selection Centers to conduct the online test. According to centers capability, the candidates will be called in the batches.

Physical Test
General As part of the screening process, candidates will be tested in Physical Fitness Tests (PFT).Physical Fitness Tests (PFT) is mandatory and will be carried out for all categories during the screening process of recruitment to assess the candidates physical ability and courage.

Test The following tests will be concluded under Physical Fitness Tests (PFT) :

1.6 km run for Endurance.
Pull Ups on Beam (Under Grip) for Strength.
9 feet Ditch for Courage.
Zig-Zag Balance for Agility.
