Applications are invited from female applicants who have passed PG/PB B
Sc/B Sc Nursing for grant of Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service.

Eligibility
Nationality - Must be a citizen of India (Also the Spouse, if married).

Qualification & Registration: Should have passed PG/PB B Sc/B Sc Nursing
from INC recognized University and be a registered Nurse and Midwife from a State
Nursing Council ( Attach attested copy of marksheet, passing certificate and valid
State Registration certificate).

Candidates whose result is awaited will not be considered.

Date of Birth - Between 13 Jan 1979 and 14 Jan 1993 (Both days inclusive).

Attach attested copy of class X certificate and marklist.

Marital status: Single/Married/Divorcee/Widow

Hi I would like to know the dates for the next recruitment drive for Military Nursing Services by the Indian Army?

THE Military Nursing Services works under the Indian Army. in recent times the Indian Army would announced about the recruitment the various Commissioned officers. All of these vacancies will be held by the MNS. For this recruitment the MNS will be soon circulate the official notification to complete the recruitment process.

At current time the Indian army has not released the official notification for the MNS recruitment. According to the directive the notification will be soon be released on the official website of army.

According to the previous recruitment drive the eligibility criteria for the Nursing has been mentioned below to give you a brief idea about the same, this may vary for the new recruitment drive, this is for just a reference point.

Educational Qualification
Intermediate (10+2) or corresponding examination pass from a acknowledged Board/University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 50% cumulative marks, as a regular student.

Physical Standards
Bare minimum Height: 148 cm (relaxed by 5cm in case of north East candidates)
Medical fitness will be determined as per principles applicable for commission in the Armed Forces.

Selection/Recruitment Process
Qualified candidates will be called for a written test to be at the centres which will be given in the advertisement. Written test of Ninety minutes duration will consist of objective type questions covering General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. On the basis of written test value, candidates will be called for interview. Concluding selection of candidates will be based on combined merit of written test & interview, subject to medical fitness.
