Income Tax Department, Government of India has released notification for recruitment of following posts given below .

Vacancy Details:
Name of the Posts:
1. Inspector of Income-Tax: 02 Posts
2. Tax Assistant: 20 Posts
3. Multi Tasking Staff: 03 Posts
Total No. of Posts:25

Age Limit:
Applicants minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age is 25 years

Educational Qualification:
Applicants should possess Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent for Post No.1 &2 and pass in Matriculation or its equivalent for Post No.3.

Eligibility:
Applicants must represented the Country in the Olympic Games or secured at least 3rd position in World Cup or World Championships or Asian Games or Commonwealth Games for Post No.1, represented the country in World Cup or World Champions or Asian Games or Commonwealth Games or at least 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships or south Asian Federation or USIC Championships for Post No.2&3.

Selection Process:
Applicants would be selected based on their performance in trails and interview.

Yes there was recruitment in Income Tax Department in 2015 for the posts of
a). Tax Assistant
b). Income Tax Inspector

Last date for applying for this was 27th of August, 2015.

Salary Offered-

Candidates selected for the position of Tax Assistant get monthly remuneration of INR 5,200/- to INR 20,200/- with Grade Pay INR 2,400/-

Candidates selected for the position of Income Tax Inspector get monthly remuneration of INR 9,300/- to INR 34,800/- with Grade Pay INR 4,600/-

Age Limit-
Age should be not less than 18 yrs of age and must not be more than 27 yrs of age.
Relaxation of age will be applicable as per the norms.

Minimum Educational Requirement-
Aspirant must have obtained a Degree in concerned stream from a renowned Institute / University.
