Is IMU a Good University? Can you please tell me about the reviews and ranking of the International Medical University (IMU)? I would like to get into the IMU so I would like to know about its reviews before my admission in this university?

The Indian Maritime University, established through an Act of Parliament (Act 22) in November 2008 as a Central University, is poised to play a key role in the development of trained human resource for the maritime sector.

It is a top and the only university in the country in the maritime field. It has an All-India jurisdiction and the headquarters is at Chennai. It has 6 campuses namely Chennai, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai Port, Navi Mumbai, and Visakhapatnam.

Its objective is to facilitate and promote maritime studies, training, research and extension work with focus on emerging areas of studies like oceanography, maritime history, maritime laws, maritime security, search and rescue, transportation of dangerous cargo, environmental studies and other related fields, and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields and other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
