Is LPU A Good University

Is LPU a Good University? My past senior is doing the MBA course from the LPU and according to him it is very lavish and good university in terms of the placement also. He placed in 3 companies through placement but I want to actual condition of the Lovely Professional University.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private university established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust, under The Lovely Professional University Act, 2005 (Punjab Act 25 of 2005) and started operation in 2006.

The vision of Lovely Professional University (LPU) is to be a premier academic institution, recognized internationally for its contribution to industry & society, through excellence in teaching-learning, research & training, internationalization, entrepreneurship and leadership.

Affiliation

In India, it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Internationally, it is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).

Ranking

Lovely Professional University was ranked 66 among engineering colleges by Outlook India in 2017. The Lovely Institute of Law was ranked 18th among the 18 by India Today's "India's Best Colleges 2017: Law".

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked it 38 in the management ranking in 2018 and 26 in the pharmacy ranking.
