Re: Iitb ispa
ISPA stands for the Institute Summer Project Allocation . Students approach Professors for a summer project . ISPA has been undertaken to centralize this process of project allocation. It also aims at motivating students to take research experience beyond their own department by launching Inter-Department Projects. The duration of the project will be decided on discussion with the Prof. Two categories for the projects :- Type1 Projects: Pre-determined problem statements by Professors: Professor has set the problem statement and students who are intrigued by tproblem statement can choose it as a preference . Type2 Projects: Problem statements that students want to pursue after having a discussion with the Professor. No fixed problem statement. ISPA is only intended for UG students. Timeline: 18th April Mail sent on Student Notices. 20th April Interface closed. End of April Projects allocated to students--2nd week of May ISPA orientation organized by GSAA Contact Details : IIT Bombay Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400076 022 2572 2545 |
