The team members of IIT Madras was inaugurated the Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum Building.

This is Low Cost, Eco-friendly house has been designed by IITM. The IITMs research team with its world renowned back up of infrastructure and knowledge, has taken construction to a whole new level.

It is being inaugurated on 7th June.

The one-of-its-kind GFRG demo building, was constructed within a month using the glass fiber reinforced gypsum panels which was originally designed for using as walls by Rapid Building systems, Australia.
