The Department of Industrial and Management Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur offers a two year full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The two year full-time program spreads over a four semester course work. The course work incorporates necessary, specialization and elective courses alongside extraordinary studies in the zone of member's advantage. Specializations offered in MBA incorporate sectorial zones of Service Management and Manufacturing Management and utilitarian ranges of Operations, Systems, Marketing, and Finance.

Qualifying Examination

To apply for the scholarly session of 2016-2017, a candidate must show up for the CAT 2015 examination directed by IIMs.

Qualification

For GN and OBC candidates

a) General CAT-2015 score of 85 percentile or more.

b) 65% or more in Class X and Class XII examinations.

c) B. Tech. then again B.E. on the other hand B. Curve. (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII), or four year degree program prompting B. Sc. Building (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG project), or four year degree program prompting Bachelor of Science degree (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program), or Master of Science (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program), or Master of Arts in Economics (with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the UG program) with total of 65% or a CPI of 6.5 on a size of 10 from any AICTE perceived organization/college, IITs, NITs, and IIITs.

Application
Competitors who satisfy the above expressed qualification criteria can apply to the MBA program at IIT Kanpur by filling an online application frame and sending an interest draft for Registrar, IIT Kanpur payable at Kanpur. The application charges for General and OBC competitors is Rs 1600/ - and SC/ST/PH is Rs. 800/ - . A competitor can apply to the MBA program just through online application process after CAT results are announced.
