IIT JEE pattern

Next year I want to give IIT JEE so please give all details about exam? Are there any subjective questions in IIT JEE and are they compulsory to attempt?

IIT JEE is Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and it is an all India common entrance examination which is conducted for admission in different IIT’s. IIT JEE is being conducted into two parts:

JEE-Main
This exam is to admission in IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), National Institutes of Technology, CFTIs (Central Funded Technical Institute).

JEE-Advanced
This exam is for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology, and the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.

JEE Main Pattern:

Paper 1 - for B.E/B.TECH courses

Duration: 3 hrs
Type of questions: Objective
Subjects of exam: Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics


Paper 2 - for B.ARCH/B. PLANNING

Subjects of exam:
Mathematics - Part I - objective questions
Aptitude Test - Part II - objective questions
Drawing Test - Part III - to test drawing aptitude
Duration - 3 Hours


JEE Advanced Pattern

Paper 1

The question paper consists of 3 parts:
Part I: Mathematics
Part II: Physics
Part III: Chemistry


Paper 2

The question paper consists of 3 parts:
Part-I: Mathematics
Part-II: Physics
Part-III: Chemistry

You are asking about subjective questions in IIT JEE so I would like to inform you that IIT JEE paper only consist of objective questions. Paper is based on pattern of objective questions subjective questions are not there.
