As you have requirement of New Exam Pattern for JEE Main & Advance so I am providing you the same. IIT JEE Main: Duration of the JEE Main Exam: 3 hours Students can opt to write the exam in English OR Hindi. Students of Gujarat can opt for Gujarati medium. JEE Main 2015 Exam Pattern for Exam 1 Exam Pattern: 1. Online - Computer Based Test (CBT): Facilitation Centers (in cities where the online exam will be conducted) will be operational in March to aid hands on practice for students who wish to familiarize themselves with the online Exam pattern. The list of the facilitation Centres will be announced in March by CBSE. The CBT will be covering questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage to all subjects. The candidates will have to opt for the correct response for each question out of four responses given. Each question will be allotted 4 marks. Every wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark. 2. Offline - Pen & Exam Based: The exam will be of 3 hours duration 30 questions from each subject namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be asked making the total number of questions to be 90. The JEE Main Question Exam will be of multiple choices with one correct answer from a choice of four answers for each question. All subjects carry equal weightage with each question carrying 4 marks for a correct answer. Every wrong answer will result in deduction of one mark due to negative marking of ¼ (one fourth) of the total marks For Syllabus I am attaching PDF files you can download it. IIT JEE Advance: JEE (Advanced) can be attempted by only those candidates who have qualified in JEE Main and are among top 1,50,000 students in the JEE Main. Cut off score of JEE Main to be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2015 are: General – 105, OBC NCL – 70, SC – 50, ST – 44. Age limit: Candidate must be born on or after October 1, 1990. Age relaxation of five years is applicable for SC, ST, PWD candidates. Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt the IIT JEE for maximum two times, that too as consecutive year attempts. Top 20 percentile in board exam: Apart from being in top 1,50,000 in JEE Main paper, the candidate should also be among top 20 percentile in respective board. Reservation in IITs: Category Reservation SC 15% ST 7.5% OBC-NCL 27% PWD 3% horizontally JEE Advance Exam Pattern: Duration of exam: 3 hours. Sections in paper: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. As per last year’s paper, the pattern of JEE Advanced was as follows: Total questions 120 (60 in paper 1) Type of questions: Multiple Choice with single answer correct. Multiple Choice with multiple answer correct. Numerical answer type questions. Match the following type questions.
