IIT Gandhinagar offers Ph.D. programmes in Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Cognitive Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Earth Sciences, Electrical Engineering, History, Language & Literature, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Philosophy, Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Political Science, Psychology, Social Epidemiology and Sociology.

Eligibility:

Top 5 rank holders of the disciplines in NITs and other selected engineering colleges

B.Tech. students currently enrolled in their 4th year of programme.

At an IIT with CPI/CGPA of not less than 6.0

No GATE qualification requirement.

Fellowship:

Rs. 25,000/- per month (without GATE score)

Rs. 35,000/- per month (with valid GATE score)
