My friend is doing B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) , Gandhinagar and I also want to join the same Institute . I have got marks 205 marks in JEE Main 2015 . Now I have to give Advance . Would you please tell me How To Get Admission In IIT Gandhinagar ? Does selection is based on Advance marks ?

Can you tell me the eligibility requirement for admission in M Tech (Master in Technology) Program 2018 offered by IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Gandhinagar?

The application form for the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Gandhinagar M Tech (Master in Technology) admission 2018 was available from March 17, 2018. The last date for filling the application form was April 10, 2018.

Candidates applying for admission need to have valid GATE scores and must have appeared for a written test. It offers eight M. Tech programmes in various disciplines. Candidates who were shortlisted on the basis of their GATE scores will have to appear for a written test and interview.

IIT Gandhinagar M. Tech Eligibility Criteria 2018

B. Tech graduates from IITs who have a CGPA/ CPI of 8.0 or above (on scale of 10) are exempt from having valid GATE scores. Such candidates can apply directly.
One having a valid GATE scores with a minimum of 55 % mark/ 5.5 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) in B. Tech, B.E, M. Sc or equivalent in the respective branches. One belonging to Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe must have at least 50 % marks

Eligibility Criteria for Early Admit M. Tech programme
B. Tech students from IITs who have a CPI/ CGPA of not less than 6.0 by the end of the third year, will be eligible to apply for the M. Tech programme
B. Tech students who are among the top five rank holders in the department by the end of the third year from the NITs and other select colleges.
