The Knowledge Resource Centre of Chandigarh University consists of a Central Library & Twelve libraries situated in different Academic Blocks. These are well established modern libraries catering to the information needs of the academic community. The whole collection of the library is computerized and its OPAC is electronically accessible.

Library Services

Circulation
The Central library is available from 9 AM to 4 PM without any break for the issue and return of the books. It follows the ticket system for the circulation of books.

Timing
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Inter Library Loan
Library offers Inter Library Loan service to its users for Books. At present the collection of British Library Chandigarh can be accessed for the same.
Document procurement service is also available from DELNET and from other document delivery service agencies, if the user is willing to bear the expenses involved.

Reference Service
Library maintains a separate collection consisting of Encyclopedia, Dictionaries; Reference books are marked "R" or Reference. It also contains books for competitive exams.

Reprography Service
Library offers photocopying service to its members and visitors. Only single copy of journal articles and book chapter is provided for study purpose.
The service is free to all staff members for official documents by just filling the Photocopy Form and duly signed by Their HOD.
The photocopying unit is available at Reprography Section and its timings are: Monday to Friday: 9 AM 1.30 PM and 2.00 PM - 4.00 PM.

CD/DVD Delivery Service
The CD/DVD received is available in the reference Section & the faculty can avail this service from 9AM to 4 PM on all working days.
At present it has more than 1400 CD/DVDs. CD/DVDs collection available in library can be accessed on the circulation section. The collection is continuously being updated.

Internet Service through Digital Library
Library has made arrangement to provide Internet search access to its users. Library has connectivity with internet lab and providing Wi-Fi campus to its users.
