The Entrepreneurship Cell or E-Cell of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is a student-run body that works towards promoting and encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship in and around campus.

It does this by regularly organizing workshops, seminars, business-plan competitions, guest talks and other similar events.

It strive to create a favorable environment for growing entrepreneurs in which one get to interact with investors, mentors, industry experts, start-up founders and also provide them ample opportunities to fine tune their ideas by participating in business plan competitions and hackathons.

It is a team of passionate individuals who are serious about entrepreneurship and want to create IIM Calcutta, the start-up hub of eastern India
