Indian Engineering Services examination is a reputed exam organized by union public service commission .. here I am giving you information about starting salary for IES officer posts below ..

IES officer pay scale :
The initial salary for IES officer by the Central Government is as follows :-
starting salary for an IES officer after 6th pay commission is Rs. 15,600-39,100 with a grade pay of Rs. 5400 along with several allowances
Basic pay will start from Rs. 21000/- 39000/- per month+ DA etc.

Additional Secretary Rs. 22400-525-24500
Secretary/Cabinet Secretary Rs. 26,000/30,000
Junior Officers Rs. 8000-275-13500
Senior Officers Rs. 10650-325-15200
Junior Administrative Grade Rs. 12,750-375-16,500
Selection Grade Rs. 15,100-400-18,300
Additional Secretary Rs. 22400-525-24500
Secretary/Cabinet Secretary Rs. 26,000/30,000

Remuneration and perks for the IES
Pay scale: Rs. 21400-39000 (per month).
Actual salary: Rs. 30000 (per month).
