The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.

NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Stipend for Cadet Training

Gentlemen cadets receive a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m. (Rs. 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-) during the entire duration of training.
