Indian engineering service exam is orgnanized by union public service commission one time in a year. Here I am giving you information about required eligiblity for Indian engineering service exam Educational Qualifications You have to complete a degree in engineering stream from a recognized university or equivalent. IES exam is conducted to fill vacancies only in these four departments: Category I—Civil Engineering Category II—Mechanical Engineering Category III—Electrical Engineering Category IV—Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Age-limits 21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination. Exam dates : IES 2015 Exam Dates Schedule Start Date for IES 2015 Registration: 22nd March 2015 Last Date for IES Registration 2015: 21st April 2015 Date of ESE IES 2015 Exam: 20th June 2015( 3 Days exam) UPSC IES 2015 Examination is conducted in two stages: Written Test and Interview. Total Mark for written examination = 1000 marks And Total Marks for personal interview = 200 marks. The IES 2015 exam pattern detail is given below (3 days Exam): 1st Day: General Ability Test of 2 hrs Part A: General English (60 questions 100 marks) Part B: General Studies (60 questions 100 marks) 2rd Day: Objective-I (2hrs.), lunch break 1 hr. and then Objective-II (2hrs.). Objective –I: Total 120 Questions and 200 marks for 120 questions. Time allowed 2 hrs. Objective –II: Total 120 Questions and 200 marks for 120 questions. Time allowed 2 hrs. 3rd Day: Conventional-I (3hrs.), lunch break 1 hr. and then Conventional-II (3hrs.) Conventional –I: Total 5 Questions have to be attempted of 40 marks for each question of total 200 marks. Time allowed 3 hrs. Conventional –II: Total 5 Questions have to be attempted of 40 marks for each question of total 200 marks. Time allowed 3 hrs. Exam pattern : Written Examination Paper I (Objective type) General Ability Test (Part A: General English) (Part B: General Studies) 200 Marks Papers II & III (Objective type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering 200 Marks for each paper Papers IV & V(Conventional Type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering 200 Marks for each paper Total marks for written Examination 1000 Marks Personality Test 200 Marks |

I am also a civil engineering, but I confused that what I study to make my life better than other.that was reason plz give me the better way to express my ideas.and give the such platform

I.E.S stands for Indian Engineering Services. The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) conducts the IES exam and the Union Government of India appoints IES officers based on the recommendations made by the UPSC. Minimum Qualification:- Qualification: - Pass engineering with following stream from recognized university:- 1.Civil Engineering 2.Electrical Engineering 3.Mechanical engineering. 4.Electronics and Communication Engineering. Age limit:- For Open category:- 21-30 year For OBC category:- 21-33 year For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year The maximum number of attempts permitted for the general category is 4, for OBC its 7 and for SC/ST there is no limit.. IES Examination Pattern The entrance for Indian Engineering Service comprises of a Written Exam (section I and II) and an Interview. The details follow: One Engineering Discipline should be chosen from the following categories: Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering The written examination will comprise two sections: Section I - objective types questions Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers. Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering subject. |
