Hey!!! CAT (Common Admission Test) is the premier all India management entrance exam conducted by IIMs.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have attained minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. For reserved categories the percentage is reduced to 45%.


Reservation:
Reservation of Seats for CAT 2016
Reservation of seats for SC Candidates: 15%
Reservation of seats for ST candidates: 7.5%
Reservation of seats for OBC: 27%
Reservation of seats for the person with disabilities: 3%

Exam Pattern

The Cat paper will consist of total of 100 questions based on the quantitative ability & data interpretation and logical reasoning and verbal ability. The duration of CAT 2016 examination will be of 2 hours and 50 minutes.

The exam will be conduct through online mode only. Each question carried 3 marks; there is also negative marking of 1 mark for the wrong answer. No mark will be offered to questions that are not answered
