Re: After MCA UGC Exam Details

As you have completed MCA and now you are looking for the information regarding the UGC exam , here I am providing the same for you.

University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test is arrange for examine the eligibility of Indian nationals by UGC twice in a year for the:

Junior Research Fellowships and
Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges

Eligibility Criteria:
Interested Aspirants who have secured minimum of 55% marks in Masters Degree from a recognized Universities in Arts, Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible

The Ph.D degree Aspirants whose Masters level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in UGC-NET exam.

For Junior Research Fellowship:
Interested candidate should not exceeds than 28 years.

Three years relaxation in age will be permissible to the applicants possessing LL.M. Degree.

For Lectureship: No upper age limit is prescribed for taking up Lectureship.
