Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) was Established as one of the first interdisciplinary programs in IIT Bombay, it offers research based M.Tech., Ph.D. and M.Sc.-Ph.D. dual degree programmes,

Courses offered:
Ph.D.
M.Sc. - Ph.D.
M.Tech.

Admissions
IEOR admits students twice a year (both in July and January) for Ph.D. degree program, and once a year (only in July) for the M.Tech. degree program and the dual degree M.Sc-Ph.D. program.

Eligibility;
Applicants must have first class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in:

Master's degree in any branch of Engineering with adequate exposure to Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.

M.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics or Operations Research.

Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering with an excellent academic record.
