Is IBPS PO Exam Held Twice A Year
Is IBPS PO Exam held twice a year? If not then how many time IBPS conduct the PO exam? I am going to write the this exam this year and so I need the information regarding this exam and also tell me about number of chances for which a student can write it?

Can you tell me if IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) PO (Probationary Officer) Exam is conducted twice or once in a year as I am very confused about it?

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) PO (Probationary Officer) Exam is conducted once in a year. IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification Graduation Degree: The eligibility criteria is a graduation degree (BA, B Com, BSc, B. Tech or as such) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. Any such candidate who has received equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government is also eligible to apply for this exam. Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of computer systems is necessary. Language Proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in official language of the State/UT is desirable. One must be able to read, write and speak the language. Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants: One applying must be one of the following: 1. Citizen of India 2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan 3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement 4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire,Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India One belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favour. Age Eligibility One should not be less than 20 years old and not more than 30 years old at the time of registration. There is age relaxation applicable to category wise candidates as per the government rules: Category Age Relaxation Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) 5 years Other Backward Classes (OBC Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years Persons with Disabilities (PWD) 10 years Ex-Servicemen (Army personnel) 5 years Widows/Divorced Women 9 years Persons with Domicile of Jammu &Kashmir during the period of 1-1-1980 to 31-12-1989 5 years Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 years Regular Employees of Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal retrenched from service(for MP state Only) 5 years |
