Can you tell me about the number of seats available for VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2017 for admission in B Tech Program?

VIT University will conduct VITEEE 2017 online from April 5 to April 16, 2017. It will be conducted in 3 sessions per day, from April 5 to 16. Timings for these 3 sessions for VITEEE 2017 will be 9 am to 11.30 am (first session), 12.30 pm to 3 pm (second session) and 4 to 6.30 pm (third session).


VIT University conducts VITEEE for admission to over 5000 undergraduate engineering seats across its four campuses – VIT Chennai, VIT Vellore, VIT Andhra Pradesh and VIT Bhopal for which around 2 lakh (approximately) students fight.

VITEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria:
One born on or after July 1, 1995 can apply for VITEEE-2017.

Qualifying marks:
One should have obtained an aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).

Qualifying marks:
One belonging to SC/ST categories and North Eastern State, the average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50%.

Education type criteria:
Only one, who has studied in regular, full time and formal education are eligible to apply.
'NIOS' candidates can also apply for VITEEE2017.
