As you want to get the details of estimated opening and closing rank and the dates of exam of VIT Engineering Entrance Examination so here is the information of the same for you:

VITEEE Opening and Closing Ranks:
Students in the rank between 1 and 8,000 were called on the first day of counselling.
Candidates who secured rank between 8001 to 12,000 in VITEEE exam were called on day 2 of counselling.
Similarly, candidates who fell in the rank slab of 12,001 to 16,000, were called on the third day of the counselling.
Those who were ranked between 16,001 and 20,000 got themselves counselled on the last day i.e on May 22, 2014.
In VITEEE counselling phase 2, ranks 20,000 to 99,999 were called.
There were approximately 5000
The seats were filled mid-way in Phase II of counselling.

Tentative Cut Off for VITEEE 2015:
The candidates who gets 60-70 marks out of 120 have a fair chances of getting their name listed in the top 10,000 in VITEEE 2015 merit list and they are likely to receive call letters for counselling in phase I.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognized Board or Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board or High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma or Advanced (A) level General Certificate Education (GCE) examination

Candidates must have passed with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology (50% for SC/ST and candidates from Northeast and Jammu Kashmir)

Age Limit:
Candidates must not have crossed the age of 22 years

Paper Pattern:
Duration: 2.5 hours
160 questions divided into four sections with 40 questions each for one mark.
Candidates may note that there is no negative marking for VITEEE 2015.

Application Fees for VITEEE:
Rs 940 for online mode
Rs 990 for offline mode
50 USD for NRI candidates

Important Dates:
Start sale of Application Form: 1 December, 2014
Last date for receipt of online application: March 16, 2015
Online Slot Booking: March 20 to 23, 2015
Test Date: April 8 to 19, 2015
Result: April 29, 2015

As you can see the dates for the year of 2015 have been passed so you have to wait till next year to give this exam
