Registered Dietitian Exam RD Exam is taken every year by Indian Dietetic Association to award registration to applicants who successfully qualify for it. Passing of RD Exam is mandatory for those candidates who want to become Registered Dietician in India.

Entire process will be online, RD exam form, Documents upload, Hall ticket.

Candidates should register on Ida website with username/password for login.

Registration Examination: Exam Date: To be announced

Last date of submitting completed application form 30th November of the year

Of applying for the RD exam. No queries for RD exam will be answered after December 31st .

Examination Fee: Rupees 2000/- (Non- Refundable); Only through ECS / NEFT only in given

Eligibility Requirements

B.Sc. Home Science in Foods & Nutrition (Day Scholar)

Or Graduation with science stream having minimum 3-4 subjects as 1) basic nutrition

2) Biochemistry 3) Physiology .

+Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics OR M.Sc.in Foods & Nutrition/Clinical

Nutrition/ Dietetics.

(Regular course from recognized universities/ institutions only)

+Six months continuous internship from recognized hospitals listed on the website click

here OR FIVE year experience in a multispecialty hospital as full-time dietician from IDA recognized Hospitals.

If from non-IDA recognized hospital than recommendation letter from local IDA chapter

president to be submitted with RD exam application form.
